The Lowry Centre for Advanced Training Open Day:

These Open Days will introduce you to the CAT scheme, an intensive, part time, pre-vocational training programme for young people who aim to pursue a career in dance from the North West.

They are open to hard working young dancers aged 11-16 who are passionate and committed to a future as a dance professional. The Lowry CAT is part of a national programme funded by the Department of Education through the recognised Music and Dance Scheme, providing support to dancers wishing to access pre-vocational training.

This Open Day will consist of a practical technical & creative workshop, followed by a small sharing and an informative discussion, opening up opportunity for parents/ dancers to ask The Lowry CAT Staff Questions about the scheme.

Students wishing to audition for the CAT are advised to first attend an Open Day. Audition Application Forms will be made available at the Open Days.
