How To Apply

Attendance of a North West Dance: Centre for Advanced Training Open Day is essential for any young person wishing to apply for a place on The Lowry Centre for Advanced Training.
The Open Day will include a contemporary and creative session for the young people followed by a question and answer session that gives both potential students and their parents/guardians the chance to find out more about the scheme and other opportunities available through NorthWest Dance and its partners.
From these Open Days, suitable candidates can apply to Audition for The Lowry Centre for Advanced Training.

The auditions are only open to young people aged 11-16 however any young person aged 11-18 who wishes to find out more about dance opportunities in their local area and across the region are welcome to attend the Open Days.

Open Days are held across the North West and are now bookable via The Lowry Box Office. To find out more visit our Open Days Page.

Suitable candidates aged 11-16 will be invited to audition following the Open Days.
The audition process is devised in order to assess true potential and ability rather than technical excellence. The creative and choreographic elements of the audition offer an opportunity to demonstrate this potential and it is important to note that every effort will be made to create a safe and relaxed environment in order that you can work to your maximum potential.
This year's auditions will take place on Sunday 9th June 2019 at The Lowry, Salford Quays. You must have attended an Open Day to audition! This year's Application Forms and details will be available at the regional Open Days and shortly via our website. Keep your eye on this page!
You can also check out the NorthWest Dance Opportunities page for other upcoming dance opportunities in the North West.
